Easy Skillet Lamb Shoulder Blade Chops


Serves:  2
Total Time:  40-45 minutes


Ingredients

  • 2 Lamb Shoulder Blade Chops {8-10 ounces each}
  • 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Warm Water
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Garlic Clove, peeled and pressed {or chopped finely}
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Rosemary
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Salt, to taste

Prepare

  • Lightly salt each side of lamb chops.
  • In a large skillet brown lamb chops on each side in olive oil.
  • Add all remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
  • Cover skillet, reduce heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes until meat reaches desired done-ness {145 degrees for Medium, 165 for Well}.
  • Serve immediately.  {Wonderful with seasoned rice or fluffy mashed potatoes and peas.}
